The New York
City Council
Grant subsidized
High Tech Mass
Media Training
Workshop will be
able to
accommodate ten
participants for
each workshop.
It is geared
towards faculty,
staff, and
students within
the City
University of
New York and
professionals
from the Asian
American
community.
In four weekly
sessions,
participants
will learn the
basic
audio-visual
production and
editing
techniques to
create a web
presence, as
well as VCDs to
share
information
about their
programs and
specialties
across the CUNY
campuses and the
Asian American
community. The
workshop aims to
help
participants
develop a
project on the
AAARI website.
After the
workshop
training,
participants can
apply for a
temporary loan
of audio-visual
equipments and
additional
access to
editing
equipments to
complete the
project they
have started.
To encourage
participation
from CUNY, the
first workshop
will be FREE to
all members
affiliated with
CUNY; a
returnable
insurance fee of
$100 is still
required for
registration.
At the workshop,
participants
