This ten-session workshop is designed for beginners who are interested in Mandarin-Chinese language. Students will build solid communicative skills as they discuss everyday topics. Pinyin is presented at the end of each lesson, so students can begin reading characters without relying solely on pinyin.

Students are expected to learn how to recognize and write Traditional Chinese characters. Lessons are based on material from Integrated Chinese: Level 1 (Traditional Character Edition). Hand-outs will be provided to students.
