Payment must be

day of class to ensure
registration.
This course will focus
on teaching Japanese
through the use of Romaji (the Romanization
of Japanese
words/characters) while
students learn practical
everyday words and
sentences used in basic
Japanese conversation.
Students will also be
introduced to the
syllabic
scripts-Hiragana and
Katakana. In addition,
general topics of
interest in modern day
Japan including cuisine,
culture, and historical
aspects will also be
discussed.

Instructor
Biography

Ryosuke
Yamada
received his
B.A. from Wako
University in
Tokyo and
subsequently
attended The
Swedish
Institute where
he earned his
A.O.S. degree in
physical
therapy. Mr.
Yamada is also
an actor who has
performed for
various Japanese
plays in New
York City.
